We are delighted to welcome you to the 16th Annual College of Idaho Student Research Conference and its second website presentation. We have added a theme to the conference this year- The Story of My Question. At this year’s conference students from a range of disciplines share their scholarly and creative accomplishments and their process of inquiry. As always, we are excited about the opportunity to share a variety of excellent student research posters, talks, and creative performances. This year we have also added panel discussions to the conference.

We have invited presenters to explore the process of creativity and research through stories of how questions, knowledge, and stories are developed and told across disciplines. We want to facilitate a space for curious scholars and artists to both tell their stories of inquiry and creation and engage in an interdisciplinary community dialogue. We hope you attend the live, online SRC event on April 10th from 11-3:30 to join in the conversation.

This year, the Student Research Conference program includes 51 different posters, presentations, talks, and panels. In total, the conference will feature 61 different student presenters, with submissions from Psychology, Theatre, Political Economy, History, Business, English and Creative Writing, Modern Foreign Language, Art, Environmental Studies, Biology, Education, Physics, and Health and Human Performance.

The Student Research Conference is possible because of the support of the administration, staff, faculty, and the SRC planning committee. This year, the College's Information Technology Department played an essential role in supporting the conference. We particularly want to thank John Britschgi for creating the website. However, none of this would be possible without the dedication and passion of the presenting students. We find their creativity, curiosity, and perseverance inspiring and think you will as well. Many of these presentations are the culmination of a year or more of work. We are pleased to highlight the vast range of student research and creativity happening at the College of Idaho.
