REL-103 Hebrew Bible: Torah 3 credits
An examination of the formation, contents and various uses of the first five books of the Hebrew Bible (and Christian Old Testament) as "scripture" in Jewish and Christian traditions. Students will learn to use the methods and resources of scholarly biblical study. (Not open to students who have previously taken REL-111 Old Testament Introduction.)
