Albertson College of Idaho
2006 - 2007 Catalog
Cooperative Program in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
The ACI Cooperative Program in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
is a collaborative effort with Idaho State University. Under ordinary
circumstances, students will attend ACI for three years, and then enter
the ISU program for their senior year. When students have successfully
completed the ISU program, they will receive an Idaho State University
Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from Albertson College..
Entrance into the ISU program is competitive. ISU has offered three to
five admission seats to ACI students each year, but it is possible that
more than five ACI students will apply. Applicants must have a minimum
GPA of 2.8 in all prerequisite courses. Due to the competitive nature
of this program, students are strongly advised to pursue a complementary
major or course of study along with the program prerequisites.
During their course-work at ACI, students will be required to complete
93 credits, including all ACI Liberal Arts Core
requirements, in addition to all of the prerequisite courses for the Speech-Language
Pathology and Audiology Program.
