Elementary Education Precertification Major

PEAKS | Social Science & History | Natural Sciences & Mathematics | Professional Studies & Enhancements |

This 50 credit major is offered by the Education Department in conjunction with other departments in Social Science and History Division and the Mathematics and Natural Science Division. This major will meet the major/minor requirements in Professional Studies, Social Science and History, and Mathematics and Natural Science PEAKs. It is a prerequisite for admission to the Fifth-Year and Master of Arts and Teaching programs that lead to state certification as an elementary teacher.

Candidates will also need to complete a Humanities and Fine Arts PEAK.
