New Student Orientations

The student orientation program is a series of opportunities for new students to become acquainted with the college. All new freshman are required to participate in the new student orientation program (new transfer students are invited to attend, as well). Orientation is primarily a two-part program (Summer and Fall Orientation):

Summer Orientation
This is a one-day session held in the summer to assist students and parents with pre-registering for classes, meeting other students, faculty and staff, finalizing financial aid, arranging payment assistance plans, and generally beginning to acquaint themselves with Albertson College.
Fall Orientation
Fall Orientation takes place in McCall, Idaho and involves faculty, staff and student leaders. Fall Orientation provides an ideal setting in the mountains of Idaho for students to develop new friendships with members of the Albertson community. Interaction is the key to having a successful experience. Most of the time is spent participating in activities and conversations with a variety of students and professors. During this two-day period you will have an opportunity to choose from a variety of physical, mental and social activities and may be introduced to your First Year Advising group and academic advisor.
Winter/Spring Orientation
New students who enroll in the winter or spring term participate in an orientation program that is coordinated by the Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Admission, similar in structure to the Summer Orientation.
