Residence Life Staff

The residence life staff provides a unique resource for students living in the residence halls. We encourage you to get to know your residence hall staff.

Hall Directors
are full-time professional staff members. The hall directors are responsible for the administration of individual residence halls, educational opportunities and community building and supervision of student staff members.
Assistant Hall Directors
are students who, in addition to their regular resident assistant responsibilities, manage one of the smaller residence halls.
Resident Assistant
is a peer leader who is assigned to each floor in the residence halls for the purpose of promoting health, safety and courtesy in Albertson housing. RAs serve as a facilitator of community, a link between the students and the Office of Residence Life, and as a first contact for problems that students might have. An RA is an advocate for the floor and should be familiar with the needs of the students living in his or her building. The RA is not a police officer, but assists community members in adhering to the residence hall community standards of conduct.

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) gives students an opportunity to administrate the functioning of their own residence hall. The RHA manages a budget, sponsors hall events and helps maintain residence hall living conditions conducive to an academic atmosphere. Halls elect two representatives to the RHA. The RHA is advised by a residence life staff member.
